Originally from Portugal, I’m an international actor currently based in Lisbon. I trained as an actor at East 15 Acting School (BA in Community Theatre) in London, where I lived for 12 years. I’m bilingual in English and Portuguese and also fluent in Spanish. I graduated with a BA in Theatre and besides working as an actor, performer and voice over artist, I developed skills as a workshop facilitator in social intervention settings. I also write and direct for performance that is politically and socially relevant to today.
In Theatre I worked in Prometheus Awakes by La Fura del Baus, The boy who caught the tide by Gael le Cornec, Mulheres Nascidas de um Nome by Claudio Hochman, Rossum’s Universal Robots by Stephen Bull and Tartufo by Carlos J. Pessoa. I’ve worked with Filmmaking Lisboa on various projects, with directors such as Ricardo Greenough- Guerreiro in Breaking News, Jonas David and Gastão Travado in The Follower, Florian Magot in Section 13 and Lefteris Parasyris in Cruel Master, amongst others.
In 2023, Voltei was the Winner of Secção OFF of Festival Internacional de Teatro de Setúbal, 2023.
Currently, I’m researching and writing my new project: Break Up.
